Democracy Day: FG Declares May 29 Public Holiday

2015 Democracy Day & Inauguration Day: Federal Government Declares Friday,  May 29 Public Holiday.
The Federal Government has declared May 29, 2015 as a public holiday to allow Nigerians celebrate this year’s Democracy Day.
A statement by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Abubakar Magaji in Abuja on Monday, stated that the Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, declared the holiday on behalf of the Federal Government.
Moro, the statement said, congratulated President Goodluck Jonathan and Nigerians for the successful conduct of the 2015 general elections..
He called on Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora to support the incoming administration of Muhammadu Buhari and pray for the success of Nigeria’s democratic process..
