Lit. in English Books for UTME 2015 - Updated!

We hereby inform all JAMB Candidates, who have registered to take Literature in English in the coming UTME this 2015 to read and familiarize themselves on the books from which questions will be set.

According to the official JAMB 2015 Syllabus for Literature in English, the books to read are;

POETRY:

Non-African:

POETRY:

African:

i. Adeoti Gbemisola: 'Naked Soles'.

ii.D.Rubadiri: 'An African Thunderstorm'.

iii.Kobcna Eyi Acquah: 'In the novel of the Soul'.

iv.Mazisi Kunene: 'Heritage of Liberation'.

v.Okinba Launko: 'End of the War'.

vi.Traditional: 'Give me the Minstrel's Seat'.


Non-African:

i. Andrew Mabel: 'To His Coy Mistress' .

ii.D.H.Lawrence: 'Bat' .

iii.T. S. Elliot: 'The Journey of the Magi' .

iv. Wendy Cope: 'Sonnet'.
